There was a discussion on Linked In recently about whether recruiters should use Facebook as a means for gathering information about candidates, and therefore as a means of assessing their suitability.
Many Recruiters and HR Professionals stepped forward to say that they felt this was highly unethical and inappropriate (because Facebook is about expressing yourself in a personal manner not connected with how you behave professionally). Celebrating 30 years of Margaret Hodge
